Details

Burmese refugees lack the funds to send their children to school, and thus DBCF opened up a school in New Delhi offering lessons for free. With an education, Burmese children will be able to find work and earn a living when they grow up. Currently, the school teaches English, Hindi and Burmese in 3 different classes held every weekday. A total of 50 students aged 5 to 12 currently attend the school.

You can help by contributing to the costs of running the school for two months, including teachers’ salaries and school supplies.
