Publications on health preventive measures in Burma are very scarce and limited, especially for the economically underprevileged population. In order to raise the public awareness on health related issues, HEART aims to publish and distribute informative booklets on prevention of HIV/AIDS to the rural communities in the Mon State, Burma. The materials will include easy-to-follow illustrations to make them accessible also for those who do not read well in the Burmese language. Materials willl be published in cooperation with medical experts, translators and an illustrator. The publications will also be available in an electronic form and published as CD/DVDs.

You can contribute to the publication process and to distribution of the booklets in the Mon State of Burma.
