Burmese refugees often lack the funds to send their children to school. DBCF runs a school in New Delhi offering lessons for free. With an education, Burmese children will have more options in the future for work and better understanding of the world in which they live. The school teaches English, Hindi and Burmese, as well as standard basic subjects such as math. A total of 40 students aged 5 to 12 currently attend the school.

You can help by contributing to the costs of running the school for three months, including teachers’ salaries and school supplies.
